First pictures of Sony Xperia SL

Sony have been busy busy busy in recent weeks, bolstering the offerings in their Xperia range to the point of confusion. Possibly the most exciting phone that they had in the pipeline was the mysterious Xperia SL, which appeared on an Indonesian government website a couple of weeks ago.

We now have visual photographic proof that the SL does exist, and it looks like the flamboyant cousin of the Sony Xperia S, with the models shown being navy blue and bright pink.

But as our mothers like to tell us, it’s what’s on the inside that counts, and sadly we don’t yet have any clear informati0n on this. It can be assumed however, that the specs won’t be less than those of the Xperia S, which features a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 12MP camera, and a crystal-clear 4” LED-backlit display.

We also hope that Sony have finally pulled it together with keeping their Android versions up-to-date, and that the Xperia SL will come with Android 4.0 pre-loaded.
