Comparing the Samsung Galaxy S4 to the Galaxy S4 mini

The S4 mini comes with the normal connectivity & network standards such as the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and in 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+ or 3G Dual SIM. The mini version of the Galaxy S4, also has some of the great features that the bigger Galaxy S4 includes such as Sound&Shot, Panorama camera features and S Travel. The Galaxy S4 mini is great for those who are searching for a great looking phone, not very inferior in hardware and at a much lower cost compared to the Galaxy S4 mini.

The Galaxy S4 mini runs on Android 4.2.2 & boasts a 4.3“ qHD Super AMOLED display with a 1.7 GHZ dual core processor. It also comes with 1.5 GB RAM, 8 GB of internal storage and an 8 MP trigger-happy camera. The weight of the Galaxy S4 mini is only 107 grams therefore it is great for someone who does not want all that weight in their pocket. Comparing the deminsions between the 2 are as follows: Galaxy S4 (136.6 x 69.8 x 7.9 mm), Galaxy S4 mini (124.6 x 61.3 x 8.94 mm).

Some other features of the Galaxy S4 mini include Android OS, v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) which is also the same OS as its bigger brother. The processor of the Galaxy S4 Mini uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 1.7GHz dual-core chip with 1.5GB of RAM, while the Galaxy S4 uses Dual core, 1200 MHz, ARM Cortex-A9.

Overall, the Galaxy S4 mini compared to its bigger brother has quite a fair amount of technology underneath its relatively compact form. Depending on your budget and the specs you are looking for, you cannot go wrong with either of these Samsung devices.
