This mobile phone offers users a 2.8 inch capacitive touchscreen that displays picture wallpapers, photos, videos and other images in 16 million vibrant colours in a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. It can be tailored to reflect its user's personality through a wide array of polyphonic ringtones as alerts for calls or messages.

A quad band handset, the Samsung Beat DJ covers GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900 networks, as well as HSDPA 900 and 2100.
