The Xperia tipo is an entry-level handset running on Android 4.0. It features an 800Mhz processor, 3.2MP camera and 3.2" display. It comes in both single- and dual-SIM models.
A Preview of the Sony Xperia tipo
Along with the Xperia miro, the Xperia tipo is Sony's first entry-level handset running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It is a cheaper option than its sibling, with a smaller 3.2" display and a modest 3.2MP camera.
Aside from that, the phone features 2.5GB of onboard storage (expandable via microSD) and an 800MHz processor. The tipo also comes in a dual-SIM variant, which features a button that allows users to quickly switch between their two SIM cards.
Both the single- and dual-SIM models of the Xperia tipo are likely to be released in the early part of Q3 2012.
