Editor's Review of the 543
The Vodafone 543 may not be the most spec-heavy handset on the market, but if you're after an affordable touchscreen mobile phone, they don't come much better than this.
With smooth rounded-off corners and available in a variety of colours, the Vodafone 543 is a stylish handset, perfect for fashion-conscious teenagers who can dress it for any occasion. Within its glossy casing is a 2.8 inch resistive touchscreen, providing one-touch access to the handset's main features. It may not be the most responsive display, but this is reflected within its price tag.
It may be a cheap mobile phone, but the Vodafone 543 is ideal for keeping you entertained. With a built-in media player, FM radio and 3.5,mm audio jack, the compact handset is perfect for listing to tracks whilst on the move. It also offers a 1.3 megapixel camera, alongside Bluetooth connectivity for sharing your photos. With up to 2GB of memory via microSD, you shouldn't fall short of storage.
It may not offer 3G and WiFi connectivity, but Vodafone's handset does offer access to the web using its EDGE/GPRS connectivity and built-in Opera Mini web browser.
The best bit? You also get a handy software suite, letting you sync data, music and videos straight to your PC.
